Where did a week go?

I swear I am still here. I've been meaning to post but everytime I tried something came up...like babysitting, toddler tantrums, dog needing some love...life. I have had some time to sew though. I managed to piece two baby quilts using the Jelly Roll Jam pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop. It was super easy and came together very quickly. Pictures will come soon promise.

In this last week I've had some major luck too. See I'm one of those people that enters contests and giveaways and all that stuff but never win. Well for some reason luck decided to change this past week for me. I entered a giveaway on Bijou Lovely's blog and won a charm pack of the gorgeous Shimmer by Jennifer Sampou. Omg to see it in person is just drool worthy. My charm pack is hidden away in my special Lu proof cabinet waiting for the perfect idea.

Thanks to Southern Fabric and Heather and Megan I got to go shopping with a $25 gift certificate. I snagged a ton of charm packs of Vintage Verona. Omg can't wait to get my hands on it.

Last but not least I got won a killer pattern. It's called Star Crossed and was a giveaway on Craft Buds . The pattern is from Four Robbins Designs. I can't wait to use this pattern.
